Solidworks Piston Assembly with WebGL Model Viewer

For my Intro to CAD class, I was tasked with modeling a single piston assembly using given drawings with exact specifications. Doing so emphasizes the precise need for accuracy when dimensioning and sketching parts, as any single mistake would lead to errors in the assembly process. Being able to model and even simulate real-world mechanisms is perhaps the most rewarding aspect of computer aided design.

By exporting the model directly from Solidworks as a .glb file, it can be viewed from virtually any web browser with colors included and minimal resources. For a fullscreen view, click the icon in the top right of the model viewer.
